Lyon to send Gift Orban on loan to Botafogo

Super Eagles ace, Gift Orban may be forced to go on loan to the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A side, Botafogo from French League side, Olympique Lyonnais.

On Tuesday, L’Équipe reported that the impending arrival of Georges Mikautadze from FC Metz could force the Nigerian out of the club.

One of the loan option looked at by the French club is for Gift Orban to join their Brazil partner club, Botafogo in this case.

Recall Orban only joined Lyon in a €14m deal from KAA Gent in January, however, his career with Les Gones could be short-lived. He netted just three goals in 16 appearances for the club.
