The Lagos State Football Association has slammed a life ban on the embattled and sacked Badagry Divisional Football Association (BDFA) Chairman, Osondu Martins over a plethora of fraudulent activities, gross misconduct and abuse of office for allegedly violating Article 20 sub section 3c, of the 2023 LSFA Statutes as amended.

LSFA slams life ban on Osondu Martins
The Lagos State Football Association has slammed a life ban on the embattled and sacked Badagry Divisional Football Association (BDFA) Chairman, Osondu Martins over a plethora of fraudulent activities, gross misconduct and abuse of office for allegedly violating Article 20 sub section 3c, of the 2023 LSFA Statutes as amended.
Dr. Martins was also accused of activities for engaging in fraud, sexual assault, trafficking in minors.
The decision was arrived at at its emergency congress held online August 24, 2025.
The Congress further imposes an indefinite suspension on all the members of the Badagry Divisional Football Association from all football activities, for violating the above section of the statutes.
The communique signed by the Secretary of Lagos State Football Association, Mrs. Vera Hycient Okechukwu, also approves the appointment of a caretaker committee to run the affairs of the Badagry Divisional Football Association, pending a by-election.
