Katsina Utd boss boasts of his boys form

Kastina United chairman, Alhaji Kabir Danlami Rimi has praised his boys for defeating all the top teams in the Nigeria premier league at home this season.

Speaking after his team tensed 4- 3 win at home over Rangers International of Enugu in Katsina, Alhaji Rimi said his team is a force to be reckoned with, adding that they are building a team for the future.

"We were able to beat all the top teams at home this season despite seeing some of the top teams dropping point at home.

"We defeated Remo Stars, River United, Enyimba, Bendel Insurance, Rangers, Akwa United Plateau United and Abia Warriors. We are waiting for 3SC and Lobi Stars to get their own pound of flesh next season," he said.

The chairman admitted that officiating has improved this season, that is why clubs celebrate home win as if they played an away draw or win because most of the top teams dropped points at home.

"Rangers internation had not dropped a match in the second round, they came with the mindset of winning or picking a point in Katsina, but we charged our boys and studied their play. Although it was difficult but the important thing was that we got our three points," Alhaji Rimi added.

The chairman assured that Katsina United was taking notes of a lot of things ahead next season.

He said his boys will take the remaining league matches as if it a cup final to better their position on the table.
