Two months after returning to first team action for Celtic, Kelechi Iheanacho has suffered another hamstring injury in the Premier Sports Cup final against St Mirren.
The Nigerian forward started his first match since his injury layoff which made his missed six matches.
However, he pulled up clutching his hamstring, signalling immediate trouble.
The 29-year-old had previously missed six league games and sat out the Premier Sports Cup semi-final against Rangers, as well as the Europa League clash with Midtjylland.
He had just returned to the bench last weekend for the match against Hearts, and came on as a substitute in the midweek clash against Roma.
There will now be concerns over another potential lengthy absence from the pitch for the player.
