The Ibom Golf Club Ladies celebrated the conclusion of the 2025 golf season with an all-ladies Blue and White Kitty event at the Arise Park in Uyo last Wednesday.
The 9-hole Arise Golf course presented the elegant ladies of the Ibom Golf and Country Club with exciting challenges and a Christmas reunion.
Princess Iquo Ben, who achieved a birdie, described participating in the all-ladies event as relaxing and enjoyable.
At the reception held at a popular Uyo sit-out joint along Dominic Utuk Avenue, Uyo. Lady Captain Maryann Udoaka expressed her delight at the turnout of the ladies despite career and family commitments.
"I am thrilled with the large number of lady golfers who participated this evening. This is a great honor for me, particularly in terms of my leadership profile. However, I assure you that as a leader, I am committed to serving the ladies and achieving the best results for you in golf both within Akwa Ibom State and beyond."
The all-ladies Blue and White end-of-year get-together Kitty also provided an opportunity for the ladies to prepare for the All White Golf Tournament on 27th December 2025 at Ibom Icon Hotel and Golf Resort.
During the post-Kitty dinner, Aniekan Essienette of Ibom Air announced the winners, who danced to received cash prizes from Lady Captain Maryann Udoaka. Princess Iquo Ben won the Ibom Ladies End of Year Kitty, while Patience Jone and Esther Thompson secured the second and third positions, respectively.
