By Vincent Akinbami
Former coach of Wikki Tourists, Azeez Audu Mohammed has apluaded the club owners for sticking to the full league as against the much anticipated Abridge League.
According to him, the Abridge League comes with so much pressure and winning is more of luck.
"Abridge League is just like tournament and it always comes with pressure. No matter your preparation, winning matches is more of luck to me."
Coach Abdulazeez who played for Ranchers Bees, Gombe United, Jasper United, Kada City and two teams in Sudan has also coached Kwara United, Katina United and several clubs in Sudan before handling Wikki Tourists last season, loosing only two matches away to El-Kanemi and Nasarrawa United.
He argues that the only time you can do Abridge League is when the time is so short that the league will not end at the appropriate time.
Coach Azeez mohammed, be beckons on the league board to ensure the league ends in the month of May 2025, so that the country can have a stable football calender.
