Attah commends NNL board despite challenges
The CEO of the Nigeria National League (NNL), Mr Emmanuel Attah said it has not been easy getting sponsorship because of the economic hardship but the board of the NNL led by Mr George Aluo has remained tenacious in moving the league forward which as yield in some partnership.
Speaking during the AGM of the Nigeria National League in Bauchi, he outlined some partnership deals the board have broken and the ones in the pipeline.
According Mr Emmanuel Attah, the board is in partnership with Pro Star, according to him, it took eight months of deliberation to sign an MOU on June 7, 2024 for five years partnership deal with Prostar as an official partner.
As part of the deal, Prostar will supply 400 balls to be purchased by the clubs at a discount and 10 complimentary balls each to all the clubs.
There will also be an online store where sport kit will be sold and the NNL will get commission from the sales.

* Best coach
* Best behave team
* Mvp
* Highest goal scorer
The branded bibs of Pro Star will be what must be worn by the player and officials on the bench of the teams.
Mr Emmanuel Attah also praised chief Kunle Soname for sponsoring workshop for coaches in ikene in the just concluded season. He added that there will also be another seminar for coaches and media personnel of the NNL clubs these season to be sponsored by chief Kunle Soname .
He said Chief Kunle Soname was impressed with the way the league went in terms of officiating and organisation with an academy getting promotion to play in the premier league, the reason for wanting to still support the league again these season.
Mr Emnanuel attah said the board also struck a deal with Sportslight. Sportslight will stream live match of the week ,every weekend.
According to the CEO, clubs are free to stream the matches live if it is not the one being stream live by Sporstlight.
He warned clubs not to obstruct live stream and video recording of matches.
Sporstlight will also give award to the best Referee
He also talked about the plans of the NNL board to bring back live commentary of NNL matches on radio as discussion with federal radio Nigeria is on and also talks are still on with a Nigeria satellite television.
