Aribo: Osimhen is so good, he enjoys scoring goals
Super Eagles and Southampton midfielder, Joe Aribo has described his national team mate, Victor Osimhen an incredible player.
Aribo scored Southampton's 96th-minute winner at Birmingham City on Saturday in a 4-3 win with his third goal of the Championship season.
Aribo has become a key cog in the team after a difficult first season on the south coast.
In press interviews, the 27 year old Nigerian international to summarise the kind of player he thinks the Napoli talisman is, he quipped, saying "that is tough. I don’t know.
"Osimhen - he just scores goals. He is a joke, he’s so, so good. I will say Victor.
On what he thinks of his goal music, he responded "Amazing. The first time I heard it, I was like ‘Wow’. I want to score every week now so that I can hear it."
The former Rangers player said his favourite meal is not cereal. "I don’t eat cereal - for breakfast, I have eggs and toast. But I would say growing up it was always Frosties.
"His football hero as a youngster, according to him was Ronaldinho."The reason I started playing football was Ronaldinho. He is the best."
Aribo insists there's no massive difference in the Championship compared to the Scottish Premiership.
"The thing about the Championship is that you just never know what you’re going to get. Some teams are so open to play against, you have teams that really want to play football like us.
"It is kind of similar to the Scottish Prem. I wouldn’t say there is a massive difference."
