Amusan named as Team Nigeria’s Flag Bearer

Former World 100mh champion, Tobi Amusan has officially been chosen as flag bearer for the Team Nigeria delegation during the Paris 2024 Olympics opening ceremony.

She becomes the first athlete from Athletics in 20yrs, since Mary Onyali at the Athens 2004 Games, to have such honours.

In another appointment made on Tuesday, the Nigerian Olympic Committee (NOC) also announced Badminton player, Anuoluwapo Opeyori as the General Team captain for Nigeria in Paris.

88 Athletes will represent Nigeria in 12 sports at the 2024 Paris Olympics. which is set to begin on Friday.
