Alebiosu, Dessers injury doubt for Super Eagles

Debutant Ryan Alebiosu may have played his last game for the Super Eagles at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

The Blackburn right back who finally made his debut for Nigeria against Uganda today copped injury in the match and there's serious doubt on his further participation in the tournament.

According to a statement from the Super Eagles media department, Alebiosu who delighted with his attacking foray on the right flank was said to have sustained a deep cut on his right leg. 

"Uncertainty now surrounds Alebiosu's availability for the rest of the tournament. The medical team will further access the extent of his injury and come up with a report," the statement reads.

Similarly, striker Cyril Dessers is said to be suffering from a thigh problem and that was the reason he was not used in the game against Uganda. He's scheduled for a scan tomorrow.
