Akinsheide lauds Chelle for watching league matches

Former international, Akin Akinsheinde has given kudos to the Super Eagles coach, Eric Chelle for going the way of Clemence Westerhof by watching different matches in the Nigeria league.
According to Akinsheinde said Chelle has shown that he wants to succeed. "Since Westerhof left, no Super Eagles coach has gone out of his way to watch local matches. They will rather sit in their hotel rooms to watch foreign league matches. With these action he has shown that he wants to succeed.
"We have not raised a strong home based team since Westerhof left, not even the CHAN team with the exception of Stephen Keshi.
"The NFF president deserves praises for bringing Chelle. Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau his looking to set a record. He is doing so well because he as been in the football system for years," Akinsheinde said.
